Welcome!
The Conejo Valley Arabian
Horse Association (CVAHA) was founded in
1978 to bring together people interested in advancing and
promoting the Arabian and Half-Arabian horse. We offer
social and educational
opportunities for horse lovers of all ages.
We publish a
monthly newsletter
containing club information such as show dates
and results, horse health tips, and news of
special events, clinics and general
information. We also publish a CVAHA
directory of membership with details on who we
are and what we do.

Dressage Clinic Gets Rave Reviews!
The Dressage Clinic put on by the Conejo Valley
Arabian Horse Breeder's Association recently was a
huge success! Classes were sold out and even an
extra class had to be added to accomodate everyone.
Clinicians said that they learned more in their half
hour lesson than they expected. Dressage Trainer
Jontelle Forbus who teaches at The Acres in
Moorpark, was very happy with the turn out at the
event. "We definitely have to do this again", she
said.
This clinic is just one of many clinics, seminars
and shows that CVAHA puts on throughout the year.
President, Lee Murray explained that the club is
here for those who are Arabian enthusiasts, new
owners or just a local horse lover. Membership in
the club also allows members to join the Arabian
Horse Association (national club).
CVAHA's next show will be November 2nd at the
Arroyo Simi Equestrian Center. This Fall All Breed
Show will feature Youth and Novice Classes. Western,
English, and Halter, as well as Jumping, Fun Classes
and Equitation. For more information on the club or
events contact Lee at 805-660-3400 or visit them at:
